The temple ruin folly in the Italianate garden.

This is the most formal and symmetrical aspect of the garden, and is based on the classical Italianate gardens that we viewed during our visits to Italy. In this area, topiary and clipped box provide an evergreen backdrop to the imposing architectural features. It also creates a stark contrast to the garden directly opposite where the wildlife pond is located.

These photographs show the temple folly structure during various seasons.
